Our place is in the Ansa Industrial Estate on Saki Vihar Road. We are on the first floor, unit B-124. Andheri East is always a bit chaotic with the traffic and the construction nearby. We have been here for a while, just handling the daily grind of the garment business. The office is tucked away, so if you’re visiting for the first time, you might have to ask the security guard for directions. Inside, it’s mostly just racks of clothes and some sewing machines. It gets a bit noisy when everything is running at once. We usually have a radio playing in the background to keep things lively. It’s mostly Hindi songs from the nineties. We don’t really bother with fancy marketing or anything. We just focus on making the clothes and getting them packaged up. Sometimes the couriers arrive late, and we have to wait around with the boxes. The floor is concrete and we’ve got some old fans that creak a bit, but they do the job. We share the building with a lot of other small workshops, so there’s always people moving around in the hallways. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It's a practical setup. We don't need much more than our machines and some decent light to see what we're doing. It’s just how we earn our living and pay the rent.
