Mamta Stores

You can find Mamta Stores over in Kandivali West, right at the 20th Cross in the 2nd Block. We occupy the space at 2 and 4, which gives us a bit more room than some of the other spots nearby. This part of the block is usually a bit quieter than the main roads, which we don’t mind at all. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between the different sections of the store to make sure everything is in its right place. We spend a good chunk of our day just talking to the neighbors and the regulars who live around the 20th Cross. The shop has a very lived-in feel to it, with boxes stacked in the corners and items lining every inch of the walls. We don't use any fancy technology to track our things; mostly it’s just pen and paper and memory. Kandivali West is a big place, but our little corner feels like its own small world. Sometimes it’s hard to find us if you’re not from around here, but once people know where we are, they keep coming back. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things run smoothly throughout the week. It’s honest work, and we like the rhythm of the days here in the 2nd Block. We keep the doors open and just handle the daily tasks as they come to us.
