Mamta Embroidery

Mamta Embroidery is a shop located in Malad West. We are in Shop No 2 of the Akshardham building on S V Road, which is in the Chakala area. It’s a small place where we do all kinds of embroidery work. We have been here for a good while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The shop is usually full of different threads and fabrics. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is kept. People bring us their garments and we work on the designs they want. S V Road is always very busy and loud, but we are used to the noise by now. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know how to use the machines. It’s not a fancy place with a lot of decorations. We just have our workstations and the supplies we need. Sometimes the work is very detailed and takes a lot of time. We just sit there and focus until it’s done. If you are looking for us, just find the Akshardham building near the main road. We don't have any big marketing plans, we just rely on people seeing our shop and coming in. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just enjoy doing the embroidery work for our local customers and making sure the patterns look right. It's a lot of sitting in one spot.
