Malwa Rubber Factory

Our workshop is located at 155, Ghoghari St. in the Pydhonie area. It is a very old part of the city, and the lanes are so narrow that getting a large vehicle in here is almost impossible. We work with rubber, making various parts like washers, bushes, and custom molds that people need for their machines. The smell of raw rubber is something you never really get used to, but it’s just part of the atmosphere here. The factory isn't large; it’s more of a crowded space filled with old pressing machines and scraps of material. We have been here for a long time, and the walls are stained with the marks of many years of work. It’s mostly manual labor, cutting and shaping things by hand or with basic tools. We don't have a fancy office to receive people, so customers usually just stand near the entrance while we talk about what they need. It can get very hot inside, especially during the monsoon when the humidity is high. We don't do any advertising. People in the local industry just know that if they need a specific rubber part made, they can come to Ghoghari Street and find us. It’s a simple life, focused on making things that fit and last. We don't try to compete with the big automated plants. We just do our bit and keep the machines running for the people who rely on us.
