Prachi Fashions

Prachi Fashions is tucked away in the Link-way Estate, specifically at 122. We’re right near that Shakti Ford showroom on Link Road in Malad West. Being in Malad means there's always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. Inside our place, it’s mostly just racks of clothes and rolls of fabric. We’ve been in this estate for several years now. It's a busy spot, and sometimes it's hard to find parking if you’re coming by car, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We spend a lot of our time checking seams and making sure the colors look right under the lights. It’s not a glamorous job, even if it is fashion. There’s a lot of lint on the floor and the sewing machines make a constant humming sound all afternoon. We have a few tailors who have been with us since the beginning, and they know exactly how we like things done. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people hear about us from other shop owners in the area or just by seeing our sign when they're headed to the showroom next door. It’s a practical workspace where we get the designs ready for the market. We take our lunch breaks together in the small back room. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep up with the orders that come in.
