Getting to the 6th floor of the Station Center can be a bit of a climb if you don't want to wait for the lift, which is often full of people going to the other shops. Tip Top Fashions Pvt. Ltd. is right here near the Shantinath Shopping Center, so S. V. Road is always buzzing outside our windows. You can hear the trains from the station nearby if you listen closely enough. Our space is filled with racks and piles of folded garments and plastic bags. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we have a system that works for us. There are sewing machines in one corner and a big table for cutting and measuring. Usually, the air is full of little bits of lint and thread. We keep the windows shut to keep the noise out, but it still leaks in. The staff spends a lot of time hunched over tables or checking the labels on boxes. We have a small corner for tea and snacks, which is where we take our breaks. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of new stock coming in, but we just move things around to make room. It’s a busy atmosphere every day of the week. We focus on getting the orders out to the shops as fast as we can. It’s just a regular garment office in a very busy part of town, and we like it that way.
