Shruti Apparel

We are over at the Malad Co-operative Industrial Units, specifically in unit A-5. It’s located in the Kach Pada area of Malad West. Being in an industrial unit means it’s more of a workspace than a fancy boutique. Shruti Apparel is basically run out of this one large room where we keep all the machines and the fabric. It can get pretty loud in here when everything is running at once. The Kach Pada area is always busy with other businesses doing their thing too. We share the building with a few other units, so there’s always people coming and going. Our spot in A-5 is big enough for what we need. We’ve got the cutting tables in the middle and the finished apparel near the door. The lighting is that standard industrial kind, but it works for seeing the stitches. Sometimes the parking around the Malad Co-operative units is a nightmare, so we usually tell people to come early or just walk from the main road if they can. We’ve been in Malad West for a while and we’ve gotten used to the pace here. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we know. We don't really have a front desk or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us working on whatever order is due next. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place where we just focus on getting things done.
