Fine Fashion

Our shop is located in the D. N. Trade Centre over at Ismail Baug in Malad West. We’re at unit number 4. It’s a pretty busy trade center with lots of foot traffic, so there’s always people poking their heads in to see what we have. We’ve been here for a while, and the place has a bit of wear and tear, but it works for us. We handle a variety of fashion items, mostly focusing on what people are wearing right now. The shelves are usually pretty full, and sometimes we have to move boxes around just to find a place to sit. It’s not a polished boutique with mirrors everywhere; it’s more of a working shop where we get things in and move them out. Malad West is a fast-paced area, and we try to keep up with that. We talk to customers, show them the fabric quality, and help them find sizes. It’s honest work and we like being in the middle of the Ismail Baug market. Some days are quieter than others, but usually, there’s enough going on to keep us on our toes. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just sell clothes and try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door. The trade center has its own rhythms, and we’ve become a part of that over the years we've been here. It’s a bit cramped, but it’s our space.
