We are located on the 5th floor of Central Plaza, which is on Daftary Road in Malad East. Being near Shivaji Chowk means there is always a lot of traffic and people moving around outside. Up here in the office, things are a bit different. We have rolls of fabric and half-finished garments scattered across the tables. It’s a place where we focus on the details of the clothes we are putting together. There are sewing machines humming in the background and threads of every color you can imagine. We spend our hours checking patterns and making sure the stitching is done correctly. It’s not a fancy showroom; it’s more of a workspace where the actual production happens. Sometimes it’s a bit of a climb or a wait for the lift to get to the 5th floor, but we are used to it by now. We work with various workers and suppliers to get the fashion items ready. There is always a deadline to meet or a new design to figure out, so the day goes by pretty fast. We have some large windows that look out over the Malad area, but we are usually too busy with the scissors and measuring tapes to look out much. It’s a practical environment where we just focus on making garments that people want to wear. Our staff knows the routine well, and we just keep the production moving along day after day.
