Malad East is always crowded, so finding a parking spot can be a real nightmare for anyone visiting. Our shop is small but we pack a lot of stock into the space we have. We focus on trousers, mostly for men, and we spend our days talking to customers and measuring people for a good fit. It’s a very local vibe around here. We know almost all the other shopkeepers on the road and often share a hot tea in the afternoon when things slow down. It isn't a high-end mall experience by any means. It’s a real shop where you can hear the traffic outside and the ceiling fan humming overhead. We’ve been in Bhawani Chambers for quite some time now. People come in because they know they’ll get something that fits them right without a lot of fuss. We don't use big slogans or marketing tricks. We just show you what we have on the racks and you decide for yourself. Sometimes the monsoon rain makes it hard for people to come in, but otherwise, there’s a steady stream of folks walking by. We keep things simple here. My brother helps me with the stock, and we make sure everything is folded neatly, though it usually gets messy by the end of a busy Saturday afternoon. It’s just a normal shop.
