If you’re looking for us, we’re in the Kaveri Building, Shop Number 45, right in Andheri West. It’s a busy part of town, and the building is always full of people moving around. Our shop isn't huge, so we have to use every inch of space for the clothes. We have racks lining the walls and a small trial room tucked in the back that has a curtain that’s a bit too short. Most of our day is spent unpacking boxes and hanging things up. We get all sorts of people coming in, from students to office workers who are just passing by on their way home. The lights are bright because you need to see the colors properly, but it makes the shop a bit warm. We keep a small pedestal fan behind the counter to stay cool. There is always a pile of clothes that need to be folded or put back on hangers. Sometimes we lose the scissors or the measuring tape under a heap of fabric. It’s a bit chaotic, especially on weekends when everyone is out shopping. We don't have a fancy display window, just a few mannequins near the entrance that we dress up when we have time. We’ve been here in J block for a while, and we know the other shopkeepers around. We often grab a quick vada pav from the stall nearby when we get a break. It’s just a normal shop run by normal people.
