Kusums Collection

Kusums Collection is over in Sewree West, specifically at B-17 Mahavir Krupa. We are situated right behind the Sewree Bus Depot. It’s a handy landmark because the buses are always pulling in and out, which creates a constant background hum of engines throughout the day. The building, Mahavir Krupa, is a typical residential and commercial mix where everyone knows everyone else’s business. Our space is modest. We have our collection set up so we can find things quickly, but it’s definitely a working room and not a high-end boutique. There are threads on the floor and piles of fabric waiting to be sorted or sent out. We don't spend money on fancy signage or decorations; we’d rather just focus on the clothes themselves. Sometimes the neighborhood kids play in the alleyway outside, and you can hear them shouting while we work. It feels like a real community here. We’ve got a small kettle for tea and a couple of chairs for when we need a short break. The work is repetitive but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We handle the orders as they come in and try to stay on top of the inventory. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. You won’t find any corporate talk here, just a few people trying to run a decent business in a busy corner of Sewree.
