Madamal Tilokchand

Our shop is Madamal Tilokchand, located at Shop No. 29/30 in D Lane of the A.P.M.C. Market-2, Phase-2. Being in New Danabazar in Vashi means we are part of one of the busiest trading hubs you can imagine. It’s a lot of early mornings here. We get to the market while most of the city is still sleeping to start sorting through the stock and getting things ready for the day's buyers. It’s a bit cramped in D Lane, especially when everyone is trying to load their handcarts and trucks at the same time. We’ve been operating from these two shops for years, and we know almost everyone else in the Danabazar. It’s a place where a lot of shouting and haggling happens, and that’s just how the business works. We don't have a polished showroom; it’s just sacks of goods and ledgers. We focus on getting the right items in from the farmers and distributors and getting them out to the retailers who come through Vashi. There is a lot of dust and noise, but it’s an honest way to make a living. Most of our day is spent talking to regular customers and checking the quality of what comes in. We don't use any complicated systems, just hard work and being present at the shop every single day to serve the people who depend on us for their trading needs.
