M. Mehta & Sons

We are located in Zaveri Bazar, which is always a bit of a squeeze. M. Mehta & Sons is on the 3rd floor of the Gold Coin-A Building, specifically in Office No. A. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know the streets are narrow and there’s always someone hauling something on a cart. Getting up to the third floor is part of the daily routine. The building is one of those older ones, but it has character. Our office at 199/201 is where we spend the bulk of our time. It’s usually filled with the sound of calculators and people talking on the phone. Zaveri Bazar has a very specific vibe, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. There’s a lot of history in these walls, even if the paint is peeling a bit in the hallway. We keep things pretty simple here. We have our desks, our files, and a small area for guests to sit, though it’s mostly just us working through stacks of paper. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we keep the windows open, even if the street noise comes in. It’s just the way business happens here. We aren't trying to be fancy. We just do our work and handle the day-to-day stuff as it comes. It's a busy life in the market, but we like it.
