M.M.M. Buxabhoy & Co.

M.M.M. Buxabhoy & Co. is located at 141-A on Sarang Street, which is basically right next to Crawford Market. If you have ever been to this part of town, you know it is always loud and crowded with people moving goods everywhere. Our shop has been in this area for a long time, and we are used to the chaos of the narrow lanes. It is a very old building, and space is tight, so we have to stack things carefully. Every morning we open up the shutters and start dealing with the walk-in customers and the phone calls. The air is thick with the smell of the market and the sound of handcarts rattling on the road. We do not have any fancy air conditioning or glass partitions, just the old wooden counters and shelves filled with stuff. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with the heat and the noise, but that is just how business is done in Sarang Street. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share a quick chai while waiting for a truck to unload. It is a hard-working atmosphere where everyone is just trying to move their stock. We don’t spend much time on decorations or looking modern because we are too busy managing the daily orders and making sure the inventory is right. It is a simple, old-school way of working that has stayed the same for years.
