Working out of Sharda Plaza in Vasai Road West is quite an experience. L.T. Impex Pvt. Ltd. is on the second floor, specifically D-202, in the Meena Nagar area. If you’re familiar with Vasai, you know it’s a place that’s always growing and always busy. Our office has big windows that look out, but mostly we’re focused on what’s on our desks. There’s always a lot of paperwork because that’s just how this business goes. We deal with various goods coming and going, and sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in forms and stamps. The plaza itself is quite lively, with people constantly moving through the corridors. Our room isn't very large, so we have to be organized, though it doesn't always look that way to an outsider. We have a couple of old filing cabinets that squeak every time you open them. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we’re more like a small family than just coworkers. We share tea and complain about the train delays or the monsoon rain making the roads difficult. It’s a straightforward life here. We don’t use big words or try to act like we’re a giant corporation. We’re just a private limited company trying to keep our commitments and stay on top of the logistics. It’s hard work, and the days can be long, but we’re glad to be part of the community here in Vasai. It is what it is.
