Worldwide Clothing Co.

We are located on the 3rd floor of the Shah & Nahar Industrial Estate, Unit 346. Being in an industrial estate means there’s always something going on. You can hear the sounds of other units working, the lift going up and down, and trucks loading stuff in the courtyard. Worldwide Clothing Co. is just our part of the building. It’s a big open space with a lot of tables and rows of sewing machines. The air gets a bit thick with lint sometimes, so we keep the windows open when we can. Working on the 3rd floor means we get a bit of a breeze, but carrying heavy rolls of fabric up can be a real workout if the lift is acting up, which happens more often than we’d like. We aren't some big shiny corporation. We are just a group of people who know how to handle fabric. Most of our time is spent looking at patterns or making sure the labels are straight. It’s repetitive work, but we take it seriously. We have our lunch together in the corner where the sunlight hits. It’s a bit of a trek to get here from the main road, but once you’re inside, it’s just us and the work. We keep things moving, trying to stay on top of the orders that come in. It’s busy, it’s loud, and it’s what we do. The stairs are always there if the lift fails us.
