Out here at 121/2 Dairy Hill Road, things are a bit quieter than in the main city center. It’s a bit of a drive to get to us, but we like the space we have. The building is an older one, so it has its quirks, like the occasional leak when it rains really hard or the squeaky front door. We spend most of our time in the main workroom where the light is better. There’s a lot of shelf space, but it always seems like we’re running out of room for new stock. We aren't really into the whole modern office look. Our desks are old wooden ones that have been with us since the start. There’s always a pile of paperwork somewhere that needs sorting, but we prefer being on the floor checking the items. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so we all know each other and say hello in the mornings. It’s a decent place to spend the day. Sometimes the internet cuts out because of the trees near the line, but we just get on with other things until it comes back. It’s a very hands-on environment here. We don't have a lot of visitors, so it stays pretty focused on the tasks at hand. Nothing flashy, just a group of people working together on Dairy Hill Road. We keep the kettle going for tea and try to stay organized despite the constant flow of new boxes arriving.
