Lopamudra Fashion

Our place, Lopamudra Fashion, is located in Saibaba Nagar, right across from the Mamta Nursing Home. It’s in the Santosh Nagar area of Goregaon East. It’s a lively neighborhood with lots of small shops and houses all mixed together. Our shop is small, and we share the space with a lot of inventory. It’s usually just two or three of us here at a time. The street outside can get quite loud with rickshaws and people talking, but we’ve gotten used to it over the months. We don't have a big fancy sign, just a small one near the entrance that sometimes gets covered by parked bikes. Most of our day is spent checking fabrics and making sure the stitching is okay. We aren't some big company with fancy titles; we’re just people who like working with clothes. Sometimes the nursing home across the street is busy, and the road gets blocked by an ambulance, but that’s just life in Goregaon. We have a small stove in the back to make tea, which we do pretty often during the rainy season. The floor is tiled and a bit worn out from all the walking back and forth. We don’t really do much advertising. People usually find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a simple life here, focused on getting the orders ready for whoever needs them. We close up around seven and head home to start again tomorrow.
