You can find Longulf Trading (India) P. Ltd. on the fourth floor of the Maneckji Wadia Building, which is located at 127, M.G. Road in the Fort area. Fort is a historic part of town, and the building reflects that with its high ceilings and old-style layout. Getting up to the fourth floor every day keeps us in shape, though we usually just take the lift if it’s working. The office has a lot of character, even if it feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of files piled up. Working on M.G. Road means we’re right in the middle of all the action, with all the sounds of the city coming in through the windows. We deal with trading, so there’s always something to track or someone to call. It can be a bit hectic, but we’ve got a system that works for us. We aren't a new startup with beanbags and ping-pong tables. We have wooden desks and old filing cabinets that have been here since the company started. It’s a very practical environment. We don't spend much time worrying about how we look to the outside world. We just focus on the trades and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. It’s a steady job in a busy part of the city, and we’re happy to be here. We’ve known the neighbors for years and it feels like home.
