Our office and workspace is at 2, Amar Baug, situated on S. T. Road in the Deonar area. It’s a pretty central location which makes it easy for our staff to get here. Link Clothing India Pvt Ltd has been based in this building for several years. It’s a decent-sized space but we’ve filled it up with racks and tables. We spend our days looking at designs and talking to suppliers. There’s always a lot of activity, especially when a new season is starting. We don't really do the flashy fashion show stuff. We just focus on getting the clothes made and sent out to the shops. The room where we keep the samples is a bit of a mess, but we can find whatever we need if we look hard enough. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee and eat lunch. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due, but that’s just how it goes in this trade. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make clothes. The building itself is nothing special, but it’s home for us during the day. We know the security guards at the gate and the people in the other offices. It’s a good community here in Deonar and we’re happy to be a part of it.
