Lina Communication Network

Our place, Lina Communication Network, is located at 25/179 Srinivas in Garodia Nagar. This is in Ghatkopar East, which is a fairly busy residential neighborhood. We don't have a big storefront or anything like that. It is more of a base where we keep our tools, rolls of cable, and routers. Most of the time, we aren't even in the office because we are out climbing around on buildings or checking wires in the alleys. Keeping people connected to the internet involves a lot of troubleshooting and dealing with tangled lines. We spend a lot of our day on ladders or pulling cables through tight spaces. It’s often hot work, especially in the afternoons, and the rain always makes things more complicated for us. We keep a record of all the connections in some old ledgers and a computer that’s a bit slow. People from the neighborhood usually just call us directly when their signal goes weak or a wire snaps. We don’t have any fancy uniforms, just regular clothes that usually end up getting dusty. It’s a local operation, and we know most of the buildings around here pretty well. We just try to get the lines fixed as fast as we can so people can get back to their business. It is a lot of walking and climbing, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Most of the neighbors know us by name now.
