We have been operating out of Nariman Point for quite a long time now. Our office is tucked away in Jolly Maker Chamber No. 2, right in the middle of all the noise and bustle of south Mumbai. Most mornings start with a lot of phone calls and sorting through paperwork that comes in from different places. It gets pretty busy here, especially when the elevators are slow in the morning. Being at address 84, we see a lot of people coming and going through the building. It’s not a very fancy setup inside, just desks and computers and a lot of files piled up. Sometimes the traffic getting here is a real headache, but that is just part of working in this part of town. We handle a lot of international trade things, so there are always different time zones to keep track of. Someone is usually staying late to finish up emails to people halfway across the world. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the numbers match up. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is something everyone looks forward to. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get the job done. Sometimes it’s quiet, but mostly it is just the sound of typing and people talking on their mobiles. We have been in this same spot for years and know most of the other folks in the building by face.
