Les Annes

We are located on Napean Sea Road, right across from Uttam Dhaba. It’s a nice enough spot, though parking around here can be a real headache for anyone visiting us by car. The shop itself is small and we’ve kept it simple over the years without any major renovations. We mostly deal with clothes and some small accessories that people like to buy for gifts. We don't have those big bright lights like the malls do; we prefer things a bit more relaxed and dim inside. A lot of the people who come in are regulars from the buildings nearby who have been shopping with us for a long time, sometimes for decades. We try to pick out things that are comfortable to wear and look decent without being too flashy or expensive. Sometimes we’re just sitting here waiting for the afternoon rush, drinking tea and watching the cars go by on the main road outside. The shop has a bit of an old-fashioned feel to it, maybe because we haven't changed the wooden racks in a long time. It works for us, though, and people seem to like the familiar look. We aren't trying to be the most famous boutique in the city. We just want to offer something nice to the people who live in this part of town. If a button is loose on something you buy, we usually take care of it right there. It’s just a small business trying to stay steady.
