Leela Fashions Pvt. Ltd.

We are Leela Fashions Pvt. Ltd. and we are based out of Leela Baug on Andheri Kurla Road in Mumbai. This is a very busy part of town and the traffic outside is almost constant. Our building has been here for a good while. Inside, it’s a lot of people working on different stages of garment making. We have rows of sewing machines and large tables for cutting the patterns. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open as much as we can. Mumbai is a fast place, and we try to keep up with it. We aren't a fancy boutique. We are a production house. Most of our time is spent looking at fabric samples and checking the quality of the seams. We have a small area where we keep the finished stock before it gets loaded onto the trucks. Andheri Kurla Road is always noisy, but we are used to the sound of the horns and the buses. We don't spend money on big billboards. We just focus on the orders we have. Our workers are skilled and they’ve been doing this for years. Sometimes things get hectic when a deadline is close. We just put our heads down and get through it. It’s not always pretty, but we are proud of the work that comes out of our shop.
