We’ve been here at L&T House for quite a while now. Ballard Estate is an old part of town, and you can really feel that history when you walk into the building. Our mailing address is P. O. Box: 278, which we still use for most of the official paperwork that comes through. Sometimes the mail gets a bit backed up, but we manage. L&T Electrical & Automation is what people call us, but to those of us working here, it’s just the office. It gets busy during the middle of the week. There’s always someone running around with a clipboard or checking on a project. We don't really do anything fancy here, just the work that needs doing. The street outside is usually full of cars and people heading to different offices nearby. You get used to the noise after a while. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow, so we take the stairs if we’re in a hurry. Most of us have been around for years, so we know where everything is kept, even if the filing system looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. It’s a solid place to be. We handle the automation and electrical side of things from this corner of the city. It's not always quiet, and some days are definitely longer than others, but that’s just how it goes in a place like this. We keep things moving as best as we can every day.
