Landmark Marbles

We’ve been here at Landmark Marbles on Poonamallee High Road for quite a while now. Most people know us by the old number 308, even though the signs say 163 these days. It’s a busy spot in Maduravoyal, right on the main road. We keep a lot of different stones and slabs out in the yard. It gets dusty with all the traffic passing by, but that’s just how it is. People stop in when they're fixing up their floors or kitchens. Sometimes they know exactly what they want, and other times they just walk around looking at the patterns in the marble for an hour. We try to keep things organized, but there's always a bit of a mess when we're moving heavy crates around with the crane. It’s hard work, and my boots are always white from the stone dust by the end of the day. We deal with suppliers and truck drivers coming in at all hours. If you're driving down the high road, you'll see us there. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons, especially in the summer. We aren't fancy, just a bunch of guys who know how to handle stone and help folks get what they need for their houses. It’s mostly just talk about measurements and square feet over here. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new shops opening up and others closing, but we're still sitting here in the same place. The traffic never stops, and neither do we.
