Lalit Collections

Lalit Collections is Shop No 23 on Kherwadi Road. We are situated in Bandra East, specifically in the South Avenue Layout area. If you know where the Bandra Terminals are, we aren't too far from there. It’s on the 5th Cross, right at the 2nd Main in Gottegere. We’ve got shelves full of different things for people to look at. It’s a small shop but we try to keep it organized and clean. People from the neighborhood stop by mostly to see what’s new or just to say hello. We don't have a big staff, just us behind the counter every day. The shop has been here through many seasons and a lot of changes in the street. We see a lot of people walking by on their way to the station in the mornings. Sometimes the rain gets in a little bit if we don't close the door fast enough. We like the light we get in the afternoons. It makes the shop feel a bit bigger than it actually is. We aren't trying to be a big mall store. We just have our regular customers and we like it that way. Most of the morning is spent unpacking boxes and putting things on hangers. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We have a small radio that plays the news and some music. We close up around eight usually. It’s a good spot to be in Bandra. We know most of the kids who play on the street.
