Lady London

Lady London is based out of Plot 9 in the Cepz Seepz area of Andheri East. Working in Mumbai, especially in an export zone like this, means everything moves fast. The building is called Lady London House, and it's right in the middle of all the other industrial units. We spend most of our time dealing with the logistics of getting things made and moved. It’s not like a regular shop where people just walk in off the street. There are security checks at the gates and a lot of rules about who can come in and out. Inside the office, it’s mostly just the sound of computers and people talking on phones. The Andheri rain can be a real pain during the monsoon, sometimes it’s hard just getting to the plot if the roads are flooded. We’ve been here for a good while, so we are used to the routine of the SEEPZ area. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking samples to make sure everything looks right. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s a functional space meant for work. Most of the people here have been with us for years, so we all know how the system works. It’s just a regular business day, every day, trying to stay on top of the schedule and making sure the plot stays running smoothly.
