Lactose India Ltd.

Lactose India Ltd. has its office at 211, Laxmi Plaza. This is inside the Laxmi Industrial Area on the New Link Road in Andheri West. Being in Mumbai, everything is fast and a bit crowded. Laxmi Plaza is a busy place with a lot of different businesses. Our unit is on the second floor. It is a functional space, nothing too pretty to look at. We have some old filing cabinets and chairs that are comfortable enough but definitely not new. The New Link Road is always packed with cars, so we hear the city moving all day long. We don't have a big sign with lights or anything like that. Just a small plate on the door that says Lactose India Ltd. Inside, we just focus on the work. We are not big on long meetings; we usually just chat over the desk to get things sorted. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that is usually the highlight of the afternoon. We have been in Andheri West for a long time and have seen the buildings go up all around us. The office is a bit small for the number of people we have, but it makes for a friendly atmosphere. We don't try to look like a giant corporation. We are just a local business doing our bit in a very busy city. It is a lot of work but we like it here.
