Lactose (India) Ltd.

We are based at 211, Laxmi Plaza, which is inside the Laxmi Industrial Estate on New Link Road. This part of Andheri West is always moving, and we are right in the thick of it. Lactose (India) Ltd. has been operating from this unit for quite a few years now. The industrial estate is a maze of buildings and small units, so sometimes people get a bit lost looking for us, but Unit 211 is our home. Our daily routine involves a lot of coordination and paperwork related to dairy ingredients and lactose products. It is not exactly a quiet office; there is usually the sound of the lift moving or trucks loading and unloading outside in the yard. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at our desks making sure everything is moving from the plants to where it needs to go. The New Link Road traffic makes for a long commute for some of us, but we show up every day and get to it. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just a few calendars and stacks of files that need tending to. It’s a practical workspace meant for doing business rather than looking pretty for visitors. There’s a tea stall nearby that we frequent when the afternoon slump hits. We just try to keep things steady and make sure the orders are handled without too much fuss or drama. Being in Andheri West means there’s never a dull moment around the office.
