Working out of Sunder Baug in Indira Nagar can be quite an experience. Our room is LG1/6/74, which is part of that cluster of buildings in Kamani-Kurla West. If you’re coming our way, just look for the Hanuman Mandir right across from us. The temple bells are a constant background sound, which is actually kind of nice during a busy afternoon. Kurla West is always moving, and there’s a lot of dust from the traffic and the local shops. Inside our space, things are pretty packed with tools and spare parts. Since we do air services, there’s always some piece of equipment being taken apart or put back together on the floor. It’s a small room, so you have to watch your step so you don’t trip over a cable or a toolbox. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to move everything out to do it. We usually start our day early before the heat gets too bad. Someone brings in a packet of biscuits, and we sit around the small desk to plan our route for the day's repairs. It’s a lot of driving around to different sites, so the office is mostly a place to recharge and grab supplies. We don't have any fancy signs out front, just the address and our name on the door. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do.
