L Lights And Beyond

L Lights And Beyond is located in the Raimbow Industrial Estate over in Seeps, Andheri East. It is a pretty industrial area, so there are always trucks moving and the sound of machinery in the distance. Our space is basically a big warehouse filled with boxes of every kind of light you can imagine. We spend a lot of time climbing ladders to reach the top shelves or testing out new batches of bulbs to make sure they actually light up. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it is boiling outside, which is nice. We have a tiny desk in the corner where we do all the shipping labels and answer the phone when it rings. It gets a bit dark in some corners of the estate, but we have plenty of light inside our unit for obvious reasons. Sometimes the rain gets so heavy that we have to put buckets out if a leak starts in the roof, but that is just part of being in an older industrial building. The guys who work here mostly live nearby and we have our lunch together on some old crates in the back. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around, but we are used to the physical work. Andheri East is a busy place to be, and being in the Raimbow Industrial Estate keeps us right in the thick of the local trade and transport.
