L Homme

We have been running L Homme for quite some time now over at Shop No. 8 in the Heera Panna Shopping Centre. If you know the Haji Ali area at all, you probably know where the building is. It gets pretty busy around here, especially on the weekends, but we like the energy of the crowd. It is just a small place, nothing fancy or over the top. We spend most of our mornings just getting things ready and making sure everything is where it should be before the first people walk in. Sometimes the AC acts up a bit when it gets really hot outside, but that is just how it goes with these older shopping centers. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Mumbai, just a reliable spot where people can drop by without any fuss. Most of our regulars live nearby or work in the offices around Haji Ali, so we see a lot of the same faces every week. It feels good when someone remembers your name. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that because word of mouth usually does the job for us. It is a straightforward operation here. If you are ever passing through Heera Panna, you can find us easily enough. We usually have the radio playing in the back while we work. It isn't a perfect setup, but it works for us and the people who visit. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure people get what they came for.
