We are located at 231, Adarsh Nagar, which is part of the Old Hill Quarter in Aarey Milk Colony. It is a bit different from the rest of Goregaon East because there is actually some green around us. Sometimes you can even hear the birds if the machines aren't running too loud. The building at 231 has been there for a long time. It’s got some cracks in the plaster and the paint is fading, but it holds everything we need. We spend most of our time in the workshop area. It’s a bit dark in there sometimes, so we use a lot of overhead lights. People who come to visit usually mention how quiet it is compared to the main city. We just nod and get back to what we were doing. There is no corporate vibe here at all. We wear our work clothes and don't worry about looking professional in the traditional sense. It’s more about being honest and getting the machinery products ready. Living and working in Aarey has its own pace. We follow it. Some days are slow and we just sit outside for a bit, other days we are working late into the evening. It’s just us, L G Machinery Products, doing what we know how to do in our little corner of Adarsh Nagar. We like the quiet life here, away from the worst of the city noise.
