L Decor

We are located on the second floor of Link Square Mall, which is right on Linking Road in Bandra West. It’s Plot No-S/31, and if you look across the street, you’ll see the KFC. This part of Mumbai is always loud and full of energy. Working at L Decor means being in the middle of all that chaos. The mall gets really crowded on the weekends, but during the week, it’s a bit more manageable. We spend our time looking at fabrics and designs and trying to make sure everything in the shop is in the right place. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful about how much we put on display. Sometimes the elevator in the mall acts up, and we have to carry things up the stairs, which is quite a workout. The light in here is a bit bright because of the mall lamps, but it helps us see the colors better. We aren't corporate people with suits; we usually just wear whatever is comfortable for moving things around. Most of our neighbors in the mall are friendly, and we grab tea together when it's slow. Linking Road is always changing, with new shops opening and others closing, but we’ve managed to stay put here for a while. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the trends, but we just take it one day at a time without worrying too much about the rest.
