We operate out of Plot No. 246 on Madam Cama Road. It is a busy part of Nariman Point, especially being so close to the Oberoi Hotel. Our office isn't very large, and it can get a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time. There are stacks of blueprints on the tables and a few old chairs for guests. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, but it stays closed most of the time because of the traffic noise. The air conditioning unit is a bit loud, but we need it in this Mumbai heat. Most of us take the local train and then walk from the station. It’s a long walk, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. You just walk in and find someone at a desk. We spend most of the day on calls or looking at technical data. The joint venture side of things means there is a lot of coordination to do between the teams. We usually grab lunch from the small stalls nearby or bring a tiffin from home. The tea lady comes by twice a day, which is something we all look forward to. It’s just a regular office doing technical work in a very busy part of the city. We’ve been here for a while and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now.
