L & T Finance

Working at this L & T Finance branch in Kalina keeps us on our toes. We are tucked away at Plot No- 177 on Street No- 2, right off CST Road. If you know the Village- Kolivery area, it’s easier to find us. Santacruz East is always moving, and the MMRDA area is pretty packed these days. We spend a lot of time looking at papers and helping folks with their loan stuff or whatever they need for their small businesses. It’s not always glamorous work, mostly just filling out forms and checking numbers over and over. The office isn't anything special, just a place to get the paperwork sorted. Sometimes the computers act up, or the rain makes getting to CST Road a real mess, but we show up anyway. People from the village and nearby areas come in quite a bit. We know many of the faces by now. It’s a bit dusty outside with all the construction that never seems to stop in Mumbai. We don't have a big fancy lobby. It is more about getting the job done so people can get on with their lives. Lunch usually means someone bringing in snacks from one of the local stalls. We try to be helpful without making things too complicated. Finance can be a headache for people, so we just try to explain things in plain words. There is always a stack of folders on the desk and someone waiting for a signature, but that is just how the day goes here.
