Up on the third floor of Parkar House, we’re tucked away in a busy part of Shareef Devji Street. Being near Zakaria Masjid means there’s always something happening outside. Kwality Exporter & Importer has been in this building for a while now. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but we don't mind. We spend our days dealing with shipping containers and customs papers. It’s not the kind of work you see in movies; it’s mostly just making sure the numbers match and the goods get to where they’re supposed to go. The office is small and filled with files and old ledgers. We have a lot of international calls because of the import and export side of things. Sometimes the language barrier is a bit tricky, but we figure it out. We don’t use big marketing slogans here. We just focus on the actual cargo. The street below is packed with vendors and carts, which makes getting things delivered a bit of a challenge sometimes. We’ve gotten used to the noise of the area. It’s a lively place to work. We aren't some polished corporate office with glass walls. We’re just a group of people working hard at 30 Parkar House to keep the trade moving. It’s honest, messy, and keeps us on our toes every single day. We just take it one shipment at a time.
