Our office is tucked away in Kemp Plaza, specifically at B 210, right in the middle of Mindspace, Malad West. If you know this part of the city, you know it gets quite busy around here with all the offices and people walking around. We spend most of our time dealing with import and export details. It involves a lot of phone calls to vendors and checking on shipping schedules that never seem to stay on time no matter what we do. The space isn’t huge, but we have enough room for the desks and all the files that keep piling up on us. We don’t really do much marketing or anything like that. Most of our work is just moving goods from one place to another and making sure the customs papers aren't missing anything important. Malad has changed a lot lately, and being in Kemp Plaza puts us near everything we need for our day. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby spot while we wait for emails from different time zones to come through. It’s a bit of a grind, especially when shipments get delayed at the port, but that is just how the impex business goes for everyone. Some days are definitely quieter than others, but there’s always a list of tasks to finish before we head home. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to make sure the boxes get where they need to go.
