Kottonhood Fashion Private Limited

Our office is over in Bandra West at Office No. 12 in the Lake View Apartment. We are on Turner Road, which is a pretty famous street in this part of Mumbai. If you look out the window, you can see Bandra Talao right across the road. It is quite a nice view, especially in the evenings when the lights come on. We are also very close to Bandra Station, so the commute is easy for the staff. Kottonhood Fashion is a small operation. We don't have hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us in a small room filled with samples and fabric books. We spend a lot of time talking to weavers and checking the quality of the cotton. The office can get a bit cluttered because we are always receiving new swatches. Sometimes the courier guy gets confused with the apartment numbers, but we eventually get our packages. We aren't a big corporate company with shiny floors. Our desks are a bit old and the chairs squeak a little. But we like it here. There is a lot of energy in Bandra. We often go out for a quick coffee at one of the stalls nearby when we need a break. We focus on making clothes that feel good to wear. We don't spend money on big advertisements. Word of mouth has always worked better for us anyway. It is just about doing the work every day and keeping things simple.
