Kothari Stores

You can find Kothari Stores right in the BMC Market over on S V Road. We are at Shop No A 1, which is pretty easy to spot if you are heading toward Bhatia Classes or coming from the Kurla Road side in Takpada. Being in Andheri West means it is always crowded, but we like the bustle. The shop isn't massive, but we pack a lot into it. We've been here for years, watching the market change and seeing new faces come and go. It's a typical market stall, really. We open up early and stay late most days. The shelves are usually full, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped when there are more than two people inside, but that’s just how it goes here. We know a lot of the regulars who come in after dropping their kids off at the nearby classes. It feels like a small community inside a big city. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people walking by. If you need something, you just ask, and we see if we have it in the back. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, and the heat in the summer is no joke, but we stay busy. It’s a simple life running a shop in a busy market like this. We just keep things moving and try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door.
