Komal Vora Fashion Llp is situated in Sukh Castle on Bhandarkar Road. We are up on the sixth floor, occupying units 601 and 602. Bhandarkar Road is a nice area in Mumbai, and being on a higher floor means we get a bit of a breeze and less of the street noise. Our space is divided between a small office area and a place where we keep our fashion collections. It’s quite a bright space because of the large windows. We spend a lot of time looking at different fabrics and deciding which ones to use for the next project. There are rolls of cloth leaning against the walls and mannequins standing in the corners. It’s a very hands-on environment. Sometimes we stay late into the evening, and the view of the city lights is actually quite nice. We aren't a huge corporation; it’s a more personal setup. We handle the design and the business side of things right from these rooms. The building is well-maintained, but the lift is one of those old ones that shakes a bit. We’ve grown used to it over the years. We take our work seriously, but we also try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. It’s about being creative and managing the business without too much fuss. We've been at this for some time now and the place feels like home. It's where the ideas finally turn into real things.
