Up on the sixth floor in Goregaon West, specifically room 601, is where I spend most of my time. It’s a small space, but it works for what I do. Being in Goregaon means there’s always something happening outside, and the view from the window shows the constant movement of the city. I don’t have a big team or a fancy reception area. It’s just a place where the work gets done quietly. Most of my days are spent handling paperwork, making calls, and keeping track of various bits and pieces. I try to stay organized, but sometimes the desk gets covered in notes and reminders. It’s a simple setup—a computer, a printer, and a few filing cabinets that have seen better days. I’ve been in this building for a bit, so I know the liftman and the people in the neighboring offices. We often exchange a quick hello in the hallway. It’s a very normal way to work. I don’t believe in making things more complicated than they need to be. I just show up, do the tasks for the day, and head home when the sun starts to set over the western suburbs. It’s not a corporate headquarters, just a personal workspace where I can focus on my clients without too much distraction from the outside world.
