Getting to our place at Prem Estate can be a bit tricky if you aren't used to the layout of Mazagaon. We are tucked away in Gali No.3, specifically in the "B" wing on the ground floor. The address says Sant Savta Path No.1 on Sant Savta Marg, but locals just call the area Mazagaon. It is a large space because we have to keep a lot of hospitality supplies on hand. There are stacks of plates, stacks of linens, and all sorts of things for hotels and restaurants just sitting in rows. The air is a bit heavy because we are on the ground floor and the ventilation isn't the greatest in this old building. We spend a lot of our time counting inventory and making sure the orders are ready for the morning pickups. The walls are painted a dull off-white and there are some scuff marks from the hand trucks we use to move the crates. We have a small office area with three desks and a computer that takes forever to start up in the morning. Someone usually brings in snacks to share during the mid-morning break. It’s a busy environment and the phone rings quite a bit with people asking about prices or delivery times. Mazagaon is a historic area, so the streets are narrow and you have to be good at driving to get a van through Gali No.3 without hitting anything. We’ve been here for a while.
