Kings Ice Mould

Our shop is located at Shop No 6 in the Kadari Compound. It’s right across from the Mallika Hotel in the Safed Pool area of Sakinaka, on K.A. Road. If you’ve been to Sakinaka, you know it’s a place that’s always moving. Kings Ice Mould is just one of the many small businesses tucked into the compounds here. We’ve been in this specific shop for a long time. It’s not a very big space, but we make it work for us. There is always a lot of dust and noise from the road, but we don't mind it much anymore. We are used to the rhythm of Safed Pool. Most of the day is spent handling orders and talking to people who drop by. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us and our tools. The compound can get a bit crowded with vehicles, especially in the mornings. We know most of the other shop owners around here. It’s a tight-knit community of workers. We don't use any corporate talk because it doesn't fit who we are. We are just regular people making ice moulds. It’s a practical job and we do it in a practical way. The shop is a bit worn down, but it has character. We like being here because it’s where the real work happens every single day. Kings Ice Mould is part of the street here. It’s home.
