We are over here in Dadar West, right inside the Manish Market on the first floor. If you know this part of Mumbai, you know how busy it gets around Senapati Bapat Marg. Our place is F-14. It isn’t a huge space, but we make it work with all the stock we have piled up. Most days start early because the market wakes up before everyone else. We spend a lot of time moving boxes and checking orders. It gets a bit cramped sometimes when too many people come in at once. The light in the hallway is usually a bit dim, but once you step into our shop, it’s all bright and full of clothes. We’ve been at this for a while now. Some of the neighbors have been here longer, so we all know each other. You hear the noise from the street all day, the horns and people shouting, but you get used to it. Sometimes the lift doesn’t work right, so we end up taking the stairs. It keeps us moving, I guess. We don't really do much fancy stuff here, just handle the apparel business and try to keep things organized. It’s a lot of manual work, counting pieces and making sure the sizes are right before they go out. If you’re looking for us, just head to the first floor and look for the Khushi Apparels sign near the corner. It's a simple setup but it's where we spend most of our lives.
