If you're looking for Khatri Auto Works, we are right near the Shri Krishna Mandir in Sion. It’s a noisy spot because of all the traffic, but we’ve been here long enough that we don't really notice it anymore. Mostly we spend our days covered in grease, fixing engines and changing oil. The shop isn't very large, so sometimes cars are lined up outside near the temple. We do what we can with the tools we have. Some days are packed with work and other days we’re just sitting around waiting for a part to arrive. We know most of the people who live nearby in Sion. They drop off their bikes or cars and pick them up later. It’s a straightforward business. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is just listening to the sound the engine makes. Being near the mandir means there’s always people walking by, so we stay pretty active. We see a lot of the same faces every month. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought it would because some old nut won't budge or a bolt snaps. That's just part of the job. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with AC. It’s just a garage with some fans and a lot of spare parts lying around on the floor. We’ve been here a long time now, and we just keep doing what we know how to do, which is fixing things that break and making sure they run again.
