Kewal Kiran Clothing Ltd is situated in Shimpoli Village, which is a part of Borivali West. Our specific spot is G/3 in Ajit Nagar. It’s a bit of an older part of the neighborhood, and you can really feel the history of the village around here. It’s not like the newer parts of Mumbai with all the glass and steel. We have a ground-floor space that makes it easy to bring things in and out. The street can be quite narrow, so parking is always a bit of a headache for anyone visiting. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of desks and some storage areas for samples. It smells a bit like fabric sometimes, which makes sense given what we do. We don’t have a big corporate cafeteria, so most of us bring lunch from home or grab something from the local shops nearby. The work is steady and keeps us all occupied from morning until evening. We’ve been here in Borivali for a long time. Some of the people working here have been with us since the start. It feels more like a small community than a big company most days. There’s a lot of chatter and the sound of the fans humming in the background. It’s a plain, honest workspace where we just focus on the clothes and getting the orders sorted. No bells or whistles, just a regular day at the office. We like it.
