Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited

Our place is located over at Kewal Kiran estate, right off IB Patel Road. It’s a busy spot being so close to the Western Express highway in Goregaon East. You can hear the traffic pretty much all day long. We have a lot of space here at 460/7, but it feels small when we have a big shipment coming in or going out. Most of us have been working here for years. We know where every stack of fabric is hidden. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We don't spend much time worrying about how the lobby looks or if the paint is peeling a little in the back. We are too busy with the machines and the cutting tables. Sometimes it gets loud, especially when everyone is talking over the noise of the production floor. We eat our lunch together and talk about the weekend. It’s just a normal job for us. Being near the highway makes it easy for the trucks to find us, which is a plus. We don’t do much advertising because people usually find us through word of mouth or they just see the building when they’re stuck in traffic. There are always stacks of jeans and shirts being moved around. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a solid routine that keeps the place running. We don't need a lot of fuss to get things done at Kewal Kiran.
